Our Equipment Systems:
| This 0:30 "commercial" is
an example of Johnson Imagineering's total studio production
capabilities. What you see on the screen is often not what you
think you see. For example, the "Indy" parody character is on a virtual set
with a green screen background. The "temple" background is a
composite graphic added in the post-production process. The
stone "alter" in the foreground is actually an upside-down
painted plastic pot stand and Tupperware bowl, both spray
painted with gray paint and infused with sand to give the stone
appearance. The key to "Imagineering" is Imagination and creativity. By the way, this clip won the Digital Director 2008 competition. |

We use two different camera systems.
For Standard Definition work we use the Panasonic AG DVX100
camera which delivers an outstanding 24fps picture.
It has exceptional low-noise performance which enables us to
get really great pictures with very low lighting. This gives
us the flexibility to enhance scenes through the more
creative use of lighting.
For High Definition work we use the new Panasonic AG HPX170 camera that uses P2 Card technology. This completely solid-state system provides for easier work-flow and greatly improved picture performance. |

The Lowel
DV Lighting kits (right) are the core of our studio lighting
system, in addition to selected specialty lights we "Imagineer"
for certain special effects.
For shooting in a moving hand-held environment we use the Glidecam 2000 (left). We also use a crane and track dolly for special camera motion effects. |

Good sound is extremely important. That is why we use both the Sennheiser Evolution G2 Wireless Lavalier System (left) and the Rode NTG-3 shotgun microphone. |
